Probably one of my favorite artist is Lady Gaga, her strange and yet
interesting video´s and lyrics mixed with upbeat music keep me wanting more. So, when she released Applause
I knew I had to write an article about it. The song is ment to be on
her new album ArtPop which belive it or not almost didn´t make it on the album. Although originally it was ment to be released on August
19th the song was pushed down to the 12th of the same month due to parts of the music video
being leaked on the net.
Lady Gaga, DJ White Shadow along with Martin Bresso, Nick Monoson and Dino Zisis wrote and produced this song while on tour during The Born This Way Ball. She also posted an impromtu lyric that she filmed herself at Micky´s Drag Night Club.
